Head DIVE Coach - Jamie Davidson

“We are thrilled that our head coach, Jamie Davidson, is returning as head coach this year. Jamie is a veteran diving coach and former collegiate diver from The University of Texas. Jamie’s diverse experience enables him to work well with all levels of divers, from beginners through advanced. Locally, Jamie’s coaching experience includes Dominion Dive Club, Tuckahoe Recreation Club, Pinecrest Swim and Tennis, and he is currently the head dive coach at Flint Hill School. Jamie has also coached athletes that have qualified for USA Diving Junior Nationals, USA Diving Senior Nationals, World Championships, and US Olympic Trials!”

Private Dive Lesson Rates:

$75 for a 30-minute private lesson

$120 for a 60-minute private lesson

For each additional child, add $20 (For example, a 30-minute lesson with two children would be $95).

Junior Dive Coach - Cian Gallagher

“I've been a member of the Dive Team for seven years, and I was also a Junior Dive Coach last summer. I am a rising junior at Flint Hill School and will dive competitively for their team next year. I am also a lifeguard for GFS&T. I am very excited to introduce this sport to new and young divers. My coaching style is cheerful and uplifting. I am excited to coach and hope we have a great season!”


Junior dive coach - Norah Kissinger

“This is my first year coaching and diving at Great Falls. I am a rising freshman at the University of Navarra and just graduated from Oakcrest School in Vienna where my sister and I started the dive team. I dove there for 2 years along with my club team Alexandria Dive Club. I am very excited to coach and dive this season and can’t wait to get to know everyone!”


Junior dive coach - Mary Abela

Mary is a rising sophomore at Oakcrest School in Vienna VA. This is her tenth year on the Rapids dive team. She also dives for Oakcrest’s varsity swim and dive team and placed top ten at the VCAC state championship this past winter. This summer, Mary will also be working as a lifeguard at GFS&T. In addition, Mary plays soccer and volleyball and enjoys music and drawing. She is excited to work with the younger divers this year and hopes to make the season fun and productive for them!
