  • Children 5-10 years of age may attend camp. Campers must be 5 by June 1, 2025.

  • Our camp can accommodate up to 30 campers in each session. We strive to maintain a camper-to-counselor ratio of 5:1.

  • Yes!

Camp staff is able to pick up your child from their Rapids swim or dive practice at the 9:30am and the 10:15-10:30am practice end times and have them join summer camp.

We cannot drop your camper off for a later swim/dive practice, or pick them up at a time other than the timeframe listed above. In order to maintain camper/counselor ratios and to allow for a positive camp experience for all, we are only able to pick up campers during the 9am - 10:45am timeframe.

  • Non-members can attend Youth Camp. However, priority is given to members. Only if space is available when non-member registration begins. If all spots are filled, you will be placed on our waitlist. Please note if you are a non-member, you must be sponsored by a member to participate in Youth Camp.

  • From 11:00am-12:00pm each day, camp will have a special guest or activity planned to engage, entertain, and/or educate our campers! Some examples of camp guests may be scientists, animal experts, coaches, musicians, dance teachers, and/or artists. Prior to each camp week a schedule of expected guests and /or activities will be emailed out for you to review and talk to your campers about after their camp experience.

  • All campers exit the swimming portion of camp at the 1:45pm whistle and collect their belongings to transition to either getting ready for pick up or going into aftercare. Those campers enrolled in aftercare are given choices for the remaining time. They can play on the outdoor basketball court, join some of the counselors for quiet art projects or board games, or simply chill after a long day of activities and watch a G-rated movie or TV program.

  • Members will be billed for Youth Summer Camp prior to May 1st. Non-members can be billed via QuickBooks or can pay by check. Please mail your check to Amy Sandridge, 761 Walker Rd, Great Falls, VA 22066. Please write your child’s name and “youth camp” on the check.

  • Refunds for camp registration fees and aftercare will only be issued when written notice of cancellation and a request for a refund is received before May 1st. Refunds are not given for any camp activities and/or camp days that are cancelled due to inclement weather.  Please send all cancellation and refund requests to club@gfsandt.com.
